I’ve done a fair amount of traveling throughout a good portion of my life. I had a wonderful 12 years or so with the Air Force, where I was traveling much more than I was on the base. And I’ve taken so many journey’s of my own on top of my Air Force excursions.
Of all of the places that I’ve enjoyed, there are quite a few that I really loved, but there are two that really stand out above the rest. I long to go back and spend much more time at both of these places, so I wanted to take the time and share these two places with you all.
The first outstanding destination is the Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. I stayed for a few nights in the Embassy Suites hotel on the falls side of the hotel. When I tell you that view was spectacular, that’s an understatement! It’s so absolutely amazing, that there really are no words to describe it! It’s something that you MUST experience yourself to understand the magnificence of it all.
And the second outstanding destination is the Wild Flower Bread Company in Sedona Arizona. The restaurant itself has amazing food, with very fresh tasting bread. But the icing on the cake in this amazing destination was dining out on the back deck in the fall, around August or September. Be sure to go there just before sunset, and eat out on the back deck. The view you will experience is something that you’ll never, ever forget. And the food was outstanding too. It was so amazing, that I thought I had died and went to Heaven!
